Thermal denervation / stimulation

RF therapy

Effectively relieve pain with Radimed RF thermocouple electrodes, thermolesion cannulas and suitable RF generators

Common applications of HF treatment in pain therapy include the treatment of chronic pain in the musculoskeletal system, e.g. in the spinal facet joints, the sacroiliac joint and in peripheral joints such as the knee, hip, elbow or foot.

indication

Thermocoagulation and stimulation (PRF) is particularly suitable for pain therapy of peripheral nerve structures, where pain elimination is to be achieved by denervation or nerve stimulation.

These include:

  • Denervation of the facet joints (e.g. ramus medialis, dorsalis)
  • Denervation in the knee (e.g.
    genicular nerve, saphenous nerve)
  • Denervation of the ankle/heel (e.g. calcaneal nerve)
  • Denervation of the hip
    (e.g. opturator nerve, femoral nerve)
  • Denervation of the shoulder
    (e.g. suprascapular nerve)
